Training method

1. First of all, you need to let the dog realize that entering and leaving the cage is a happy thing. This is the most important point of dog training in the cage.

2. Use food to attract the dog's attention and lure it into the cage. At this time, be sure to say "room" to it, and then give it the food after the dog enters.

3. After the dog enters the cage, give it something to eat while praising it. Then use food to induce it out of the cage, and repeat this training after giving it praise.

4. After the dog is familiar with the procedures for entering and leaving the cage, tell it to "wait" and gently close the cage door.

5. Next, train it to wait in the cage with the door closed, leave it for 1 minute at first, and then gradually increase the time and distance away from it.

6. If the dog stays quietly in the cage, reward it and feed it. If it is scratching around in the cage, reprimand it severely.

 

Training taboos

1. When the dog is crying or scratching the door, don't let it out of the cage. The dog will think that this way of complaining will exchange for freedom. It's best to ignore it and only open the door to let it out when it's quiet or calm.

2. Don't punish it with a cage, if you put it in a cage when the dog makes some mistakes, it will think of the cage as a bad place.
