The ICU cabin is equipped with air conditioning cooling and PTC heating modules, which can control the temperature inside the cabin to improve the current body temperature and metabolism of animals.
The cabin can achieve a constant oxygen environment. With a 10L oxygen input, it can reach 45% at the slowest time of 16 minutes and 55% at the fastest time of 15 minutes. The conditions for achieving oxygen concentration may vary slightly depending on different oxygen production equipment models. When the required oxygen concentration is reached, the oxygen input can be automatically suspended to ensure the safety of animal oxygen use. When the oxygen concentration is detected to be lower than the set value, the oxygen input port will open again, and the constant oxygen environment in the cabin will be maintained until the animal no longer needs oxygen supply.
Besides oxygen and temperature control, doctors may overlook the importance of humidity. Humidity control is very important, and the vast majority of cases require a low humidity environment. Our pet intensive care unit uses an air conditioning dehumidification module, which is safe and efficient, providing sustainable and constant humidity control.
Under multiple adjustable environmental parameters, it can ensure that animals recover in the most suitable environment for rehabilitation and care. There are also some targeted case adjustment references, such as:

BASIC KNOWLEDGE

In animal surgery, the stage with the highest risk of accidents is the awakening stage. This is because the oxygen ingested during continuous assisted respiration is pure oxygen. When leaving the ventilator and being placed in a normal environment, the oxygen proportion drops to 21-22%, which can sometimes cause the animal to be unable to breathe autonomously for a short period. Therefore, placing the animal in a 35-50% oxygen ICU chamber is necessary. During the awakening process, the animal's breathing is relatively weak, and leaving the ventilator cannot maintain a normal breathing rate. By increasing the oxygen concentration during this period (33% or above is considered medical oxygen), the animal can maintain stable breathing, reducing discomfort caused by the transition.

In addition to oxygen, postoperative hypothermia is crucial. Proper temperature control can maintain the animal's body temperature, accelerate metabolism, and restore normal conditions more quickly.

MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION

Inspection items

Regularly inspect the intake filter, dust blockage can reduce oxygen output and equipment lifespan.

Regularly inspect the surrounding environment of the equipment to prevent excessive dust from entering the equipment, blocking the intake filter, and causing equipment damage;

fuse replacement

The fuse holder of the device is located below the power switch. You can directly remove the faulty fuse and replace it with the new fuses, then press in the power cover.

motor pump replacement

After running the equipment for 800-2000 hours, the motor pump may fail. You can contact the agent or replace it yourself.

First, remove the four screws on the left board and remove the left board. Then remove the faulty motor and unplug the connector (be careful not to unplug the wire, it is best to use sharp-nosed pliers at the joint) and replace the good motor.
